The Seiko Kinetic Sportura features the revolutionary Kinetic movement structure, introduced onto the watch market by Seiko in the 1980's originally under the name AGM. The Seiko Kinetic Sportura requires no battery and no winding, as the Kinetic movement winds itself through the body movement of the wearer. There are two varieties of the Seiko Kinetic Sportura: the Chronograph and the Direct Drive. The Chronograph features three seperate dials, each of which indicate a different type of measured time With this variety of dials, this style of watch can chronograph up to forty five minutes in 1/5 second increments and hold a full charge for up to five months. The Direct Drive includes two separate indicators: a power reserve indicator and a real time power indicator. Not only that, but it can also hold a full charge for approximately one entire month. The Direct Drive also features a hand winding capability in addition to the kinetic movement structure.
